Jonathan Daniel Chandler, 56, of Florence, passed away on March 30, 2025, at his residence. He was a retired United States Army veteran, having served in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia as part of the 82nd Airborne. Jonathan was a passionate Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and rode with the Patriot Riders. He also had a deep love for Alabama Football, enjoyed attending concerts, and cherished spending time with his beloved Yorkies and, most of all, his grandbabies.
Jonathan is survived by his significant other, Misty Hodges, his daughter Jordahn Hubbard (Cameron), his brother Craig Chandler, his sister Debbie Bretherick, and his grandchildren Thea Hubbard, Indie Hubbard, and Tatum Hubbard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Chandler and Shirley Ann Haygood Chandler, as well as his brothers Sammy Chandler and Marty Chandler.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. Full Military Honors will be conducted following the visitation at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jonathan’s memory.
Jonathan will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
