Horace Edward Coleman Jr., 77, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at Countryside Health and Rehabilitation in Lawrenceburg. Horace was born on February 12th, 1948 to the late Horace Edward Coleman Sr. and Margaret York Coleman in Lawrenceburg. He retired from Murray Ohio in 2005 after 39 years of service. Horace enjoyed fishing, collecting pocket knives, and spending time with his loving family and friends. He was of the Church of Nazarene Faith.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Janice Marie Coleman; siblings, James Edward “Bud” Coleman, Carolyn Marie Vanderford, Raymond Claude Coleman, and Margaret Estelle Coleman.
He is survived by his sons, Tony Coleman (Rebecca) and Jeremy Coleman (Kandice); six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Holman, and brother, Paul Coleman.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held following the visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Brother Roger Troup will be officiating. Interment will be held at Old Loretto Cemetery.
