Kathryn Louise Bretherick, 76, of Florence, passed away on January 17, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a dedicated dietician at El Reposo Nursing Home and Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home and a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Wade Bretherick, her daughter, Tammy Cole (Willard), her brother, James Daniel, her sisters, Sarah McGee (Dennis), her grandchildren, Siresa Osborn (Nick) and Miranda Franks (Brandon), and her great-grandchildren, Kairi and Walker.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Neal Bretherick, her parents, Bennie Daniel and Louise McDonald Daniel, her brothers, Doris Daniel, Don Daniel, and Spencer Daniel, her sisters, Ann King, Rose King, and Imogene Ruth Brewer, and her sister-in-law, Shirley Daniel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Greenhill Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest at Shiloh Cemetery. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
