Linda George Drummond, 75, of Mt. Pleasant, TN, passed away on September 25th, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg. Born on July 29th, 1950, in Rugby, North Dakota, Linda was the daughter of the late Stanley E. George and UV Pennington George. She dedicated many years as an RN at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN, and later as a home health nurse in southern Tennessee. Linda cherished her time at Amish markets, caring for her canine companions, and being with her beloved family and friends. She was a devoted member of Summertown Church of Christ.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Van Drummond. She is survived by her sister, Juanita Ray (Jim); nephew, Anthony Ray (Becky); great nephew, Declan Ray (Jenna); and great-great niece, Shelby Blaine Ray.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of NHC Columbia, the team at STRHS, and the EMS team for their compassionate care. A private memorial service will be announced at a later time. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored to handle all final arrangements.
