Kirk L. Thomas, age 66, of Lebanon, TN passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a graduate of UT Knoxville, and retired from the Boys & Girls Club of America national office in Atlanta, GA. He enjoyed reading, researching different subjects, and after retirement became the primary caregiver of his father and mother.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Brice Thomas; one brother, Darrell C. Thomas; paternal grandparents, L.N. and Dell Thomas; and maternal grandparents, James C. Hudgins, Sr. and Hilda Hudgins.
He is survived by his mother, Ellen Hudgins Thomas of Lebanon, TN; several cousins and extended family members.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2024, with Tim Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at Five Points Church of Christ Cemetery in Five Points, TN. Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
