Candice Cox Kirk

Candice Cox Kirk, a beloved member of the Rogersville community, passed away peacefully at home on March 15, 2026.

Candice Cox Kirk was born on November 6, 1954, in Florence, Alabama, and she was a lifelong resident of Rogersville. She worked for the Department of Defense as a civilian Army employee and retired after years of dedicated service. After retiring, she checked off a lifelong dream and opened her own boutique in downtown Rogersville. Too Peas was not just a shop to her, it was her happy place. She absolutely loved meeting new faces, talking with people, and making everyone feel welcome. It stayed a special part of the community for 15 years. Candice was a single mom who poured her life into raising her daughter, Angela. But if you asked her what her greatest joy was, it was being ‘Mimi.’ Her granddaughter was the highlight of her life. Some of her best days were baking in the kitchen, school pick up, and picnics in the car with Autumn. She was a firm believer in the mountains are calling and I must go and she went every chance she got. Candice was a member of Rogersville Church of Christ.
