Loese Escue, 79, of Summertown, TN, passed away on December 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was known for her kindness, strength, and ability to make everyone feel seen and heard. Loese was a devoted Christian mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Gina Runions; her spouse of 54 years, Woodie Escue; and her brother, Thomas Runions. Loese is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Brown (Bunky) and Sherlyn Escue; two sons, Randy Escue (Brandy) and Charlie Escue; one brother, Bobby Runions (Diane); two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Staggs and Pam Runions; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends at Whispering Hills Free Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at Whispering Hills Free Church of God on January 2, 2026, with interment to follow at Summertown Cemetery. Condolences may be sent via the website www.nealfuneralhome.net. Loese will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
