Dorothy P. Escue, 87, of Summertown, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at her residence. Dorothy was a retired employee of Mt. Pleasant Mfg. She had a passion for gardening, the outdoors, and collecting rocks.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Wyrick Powell; her husband, Walter Escue; two sons, Michael Escue and Ronnie Escue; six sisters; and three brothers.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Angela Kilburn (Jerry) of Summertown, TN; her son, Jeff Escue (Saundra) of Summertown, TN; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on the same day, with interment to follow at Hinestown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Compassus Hospice and a special thanks to Alex, Molly, and Abby.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Dorothy P. Escue.
