Madgie Stutts Jackson, 89, of Westpoint, TN, passed away on July 7, 2025, at her home after a prolonged illness. She was a retired farmer and bus driver, and a devoted member of the Methodist faith. Madgie was a native of Lawrence County, TN.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 3:00 pm, with Jerry McLain officiating. Burial will follow in Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Madgie is survived by her son, Ricky Jackson (Lesia) of Westpoint, TN, and her daughter, Shirley Simbeck of Loretto, TN. She is also survived by her sisters, Jenny Quillen of St. Joseph, TN, Elaine McKinney and Carolyn Johnson, both of Westpoint, TN; 4 grandchildren, Misty Eck (Frank), Benjamin Jackson (Hope), Jason Jackson (Dana), and Joy Clifton (Jason); 9 great-grandchildren, Nikki Brown (Collyn), Ryan Creech (Heather), Kale Jackson, Bear Jackson, Lynx Jackson, Jana Jackson, Ella Hillhouse, Chelsea Lumpkins (Dillon), and Jacob Clifton (Kaitlin); and 5 great-great-grandchildren, Bentley Brown, Hudson Creech, Jemma Rae Clifton, Jada Mae Clifton, and Layton Jake Lumpkins.
Madgie was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Carrie Stutts, her husband, RV Jackson, and her brothers, Edward Stutts, Billy Joe Stutts, and Frank Stutts.
Madgie will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and her memory will live on in their hearts. May she rest in peace.
