Junior Lee Stutts, 82, of Lexington, AL, passed away on February 5, 2026. He was a retired Machine Operator and a devoted member of Center Hill Church of Christ. Junior had a passion for tinkering with weed eaters and lawnmowers in his free time, and he found joy in gardening, growing fruit trees, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his beloved grandchildren.
Junior is survived by his son, Richard Lee Stutts, and daughter, Melanie Heupel. He is also survived by his brother, Herman Stutts, and his grandchildren: Katlyn Heupel, Hayden Lee Stutts, Emily Nelson, and Chase Smith. Additionally, he is survived by his great-grandchildren, Stella Moreland and Aubrey Leigh Stutts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Stutts and Cecile Carlene Simpson Stutts, and his brother, Harold Stutts.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 12:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 P.M. The burial will take place in Henry Stutts Cemetery. The pallbearers will be his grandsons and family.
