Norma Jane Estes, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Life Care Center of Columbia, TN. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was raised up in the Shawnettee Methodist Church and was a longtime member of the Coleman Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering at God’s Storehouse, camping, square dancing, sewing, making macramé, and creating jewelry.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Maurice “Pete” Estes; Parents, Cecil and Nancy Blanton.
She is survived by her Children, Janelle Estes, Todd Estes (Connie), Johnny Estes (Terri), and Jason Estes (Karen); Brothers, Ronald Blanton (Keri) and Bobby Blanton (Connie); Sister, Mary Russell; Grandchildren, Caitlin Estes, Lindsey Estes, Alex Estes (Kaydren), Michael Estes, and Matthew Estes.
Visitation for Ms. Norma Jane Estes will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home will be in charge of handling all final arrangements.
