Norma Jean Childress Clifft, 64, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on March 30th, 2025, at NHC Pulaski surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 14th, 1960, in Pulaski, Tennessee. Norma Jean was a devoted member of the Welcome Valley Baptist Church and had a passion for reading, gardening, and putting puzzles together. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and watching game shows on TV.
Norma Jean is survived by her husband, Sam Clifft, her daughter Amanda Walls, step-son Sam Marshall Clifft, step-son Dusty Clifft, step-daughter Karrie Fisher, step-grandchildren Alex and Justin Fisher, Shanna Gibbons, and Jake Clifft, as well as her sisters Sandra Kay Tiller and Joann Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Zelma Chapman Childress, brothers Thomas Allen Childress and James Donald Childress, and sisters Peggy Spears and Lola Faye Childress Parks.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home from 11:00am to 1:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm in the chapel. The burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery.
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Norma Jean Childress Clifft. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
