Patricia Owens, age 68, of Summertown, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born on November 2, 1957, in Sacramento, California, Patricia was the daughter of the late Ova Tidwell and the late Betty Warren Tidwell. She worked as a bus aide for the Lawrence County School system and was a member of Way Church. Patricia enjoyed cooking, fishing, watching television, shopping, eating out, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Mark Owens; son, Patrick Kent; daughter, Melissa (Jason) Cunningham; brothers, Jerry (Gail) Tidwell, Mike (Michelle) Tidwell; sister, Chrystal (Tom) Berry; and grandchildren, Kensley Kent, Kaydence Kent, Andrew Kent, Makayla, Brittney, Laney Cunningham, Asher Cunningham, and Jaden Cunningham.
A memorial gathering for Patricia Owens will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, at Way Church in Lawrenceburg. A second memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, at Summertown Church of Christ. Patricia will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.
