Donald “Don” Robert Owens

Donald “Don” Robert Owens, 83, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on April 20th, 2025, at NHC Pulaski. Born on October 31st, 1941, in Cranbury, New Jersey, Don was a lifelong row crop farmer who took tremendous pride in his work. He was known for his beautiful collection of Oliver tractors and his hickory striped train engineer’s hat. Don was very active in the Crossroads of Dixie Antique Tractor & Engine Club and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by a very special person to him, Kenzie “Shrimpy” Quick, and numerous friends who became his adoptive family. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Donald S. and Vera Tracy Owens, his partner of 20 years, Barbara Engler, and his beloved dog, Jersey.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory, followed by a graveside service at 3:30pm at the Owens Cemetery on Owens Farms in Giles County, Tennessee. Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Donald “Don” Robert Owens.
