Suzanne “Suzy” Spalding Robbins, 89, of Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025. Suzy was born in Blytheville, Arkansas, on August 30, 1935, to Norbert and Claribel Hunt Spalding. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Suzy was a dedicated pharmacist, a passionate ballroom dancer, and a survivor of cancer. She will be remembered for her strength, love for life, and the joy she brought to others through her dancing.
Suzy is survived by her sister, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandchildren, niece, nephew, and grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, parents, sisters, daughter, and niece.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence, AL, followed by a family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Suzy’s memory may be made to the Huston Patton, Jr. Memorial Scholarship at UNA or the American Cancer Society.
