Vera Virginia Rosson, 87, of Five Points, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at her home after an extended illness. She was a beloved homemaker, seamstress, and a dedicated member of Appleton Church of Christ. Vera was a native of Limestone County, AL.
She is survived by her daughters, Rita Defibaugh of Anderson, AL, Sharon Chandler of Athens, AL, and Carol Rosson of Five Points, TN; her sister, Wilma Ridgeway of Appleton, TN; sister-in-law, Delilah Forsyth; 5 grandchildren, Heather Riley, Dustin Springer, Bliss Springer, Matthew Hartsfield, and Dillon White; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rosson; her parents, Buster and Oleto White Forsyth; her son, Bobby Rosson; her daughter, Trish Hartsfield; her brother, Gene Forsyth; and her sisters, Nancy Ann Forsyth and Mauvelene Ridgeway.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with T R Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Dobbins Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Vera will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
