Virginia Belle Moore, 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on August 31st, 2025 at NHC Healthcare in Lawrenceburg. Virginia was born on January 11th, 1942, to the late Cicero Reden Rodgers and Hautie Lue Rodgers in Lawrenceburg. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Lawrenceburg, where she sang in the choir and served in various callings. Virginia enjoyed reading, cooking, playing music, reading scriptures, and spending time with her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Moore (Maria) and Gregory Moore; grandchildren, Matthew Wade Moore, Adam Thomas Moore, Amanda Nicole Smith (Justin), Amie Beth Moore (J.J.), Andrew Wade Moore (Sarah), Dylan Joseph Moore, Laura Ashley Moore, Richard Lamberth, and Jaylee Lamberth; great-grandchildren, Aiden Jace Berg, Averlie Wren Sexton, Aurora Bella Smith; expected great-grandchild, Waylon Wade Moore; brother, Rex Rodgers (April); several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her siblings, John Rodgers, Carlene Quillen, Odell Rodgers, Charlie Rodgers, Emma Staggs, and Edna Boyd.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Lawrenceburg on September 7th, 2025 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Bumpas Cemetery. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family during this time.
