Margaret Jane Spurgeon, 76, of Killen, passed away on Tuesday, January 28th. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Spurgeon, parents Noel and Lurlene Land, and sister Carolyn Brown. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Helton (Paul); sons, Daniel Spurgeon and George Spurgeon (Jennifer); grandchildren, Wesson Williams, Carson Williams, Lake Spurgeon, Katie Spurgeon, Serena Spurgeon, Sebastian Spurgeon, Sven Spurgeon, Sasha Spurgeon, and Shepard Spurgeon; brothers, John and Leroy Land; and 2 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on February 8th at Elkins Funeral Home in Killen, with visitation starting at 10:30am and the Memorial Service starting at 11:30am. Following the services, the family invites you to join them for food and fellowship at the Killen Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
