In the latest report from Lawrence County Emergency Medical Services, the statistics for the month of June have been unveiled. Over the course of the month, the department received a total of 523 requests for assistance, with 342 patients requiring transportation.
Aside from local transfers to Southern TN Regional Lawrenceburg, the data shows that 50 patients were transported to Maury Regional, 4 to Southern TN Regional Pulaski, 25 to North Alabama Medical Center, and 26 to non-adjoining counties.
In a bid to enhance community safety, Lawrence County EMS engaged in outreach efforts by certifying 13 individuals in the community in first aid and CPR lifesaving skills. Furthermore, 14 EMS employees successfully completed their Tactical Emergency Casualty Care certification during this period.
