May Statistics Released by Lawrence County EMS

In a recent report by the Lawrence County Emergency Medical Services, the statistics for the month of May have been unveiled. During this period, the department received a total of 585 requests for assistance, with 383 patients requiring transportation services.

Among the patients transported, aside from local transfers to Southern TN Regional Lawrenceburg, 54 individuals were taken to Maury Regional, one to Southern TN Regional Pulaski, 34 to North Alabama Medical Center, and 24 to non-adjoining counties.

In addition to their regular duties, the Lawrence County EMS engaged in community outreach activities. This included active participation in the LCSS Career Day, conducting First Aid CPR training sessions, and presenting scholarships to deserving individuals. These initiatives demonstrate the department’s commitment to not only providing emergency medical services but also actively engaging with and supporting the local community.
