In September, the Lawrence County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a total of 571 calls, successfully transporting 372 individuals to various local hospitals. Among these transports, 42 patients were taken to Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC), while 16 were directed to North Alabama Medical Center (NAMC). Additionally, one patient was transported to Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Pulaski, and 30 others were taken to facilities in neighboring counties.

To enhance their skills, EMS personnel participated in various continuing education sessions that covered topics such as pediatric care, management of mass-casualty incidents, medication error prevention, and annual skills competency assessments. During the Middle Tennessee District Fair, the EMS team had a relatively low demand, with only two patients requiring transport. They also provided standby medical coverage for seven local football games, ensuring safety for attendees and participants alike.
