In a dramatic turn of events following a bank heist, a shootout unfolded in Florence, leading to the identification of several individuals connected to the incident. The primary suspect, 26-year-old Louis Michael Hill from Rogersville, was pronounced dead on Tuesday, March 25th. The violent encounter resulted in injuries to two individuals, one of whom was a police officer, while the other was a bystander.
The bystander, Grace McClusky, serves as a firefighter with the Center Star Fire and Rescue. After returning home, she came across a vehicle accident and instinctively rushed to assist, not realizing that the driver was fleeing from law enforcement and armed. Tragically, during her attempt to provide aid, McClusky was shot. Fortunately, she is now recuperating at home.
Our thoughts are with the injured police officer, as well as the family and friends of all those affected by this unfortunate incident.
