The Florence Police Department has apprehended two individuals linked to a robbery that occurred on October 29 at Good Spirits, located on Pine Street. Following the incident, the suspect managed to escape prior to the arrival of law enforcement. In the course of the investigation, authorities executed a search warrant at the residence of Desmond Peters and Jennifer Duster.
With the assistance of the SWAT Team, deputies conducted a thorough search of the home on Mitchell Street. During this operation, they confiscated a significant quantity of marijuana, as well as cocaine and various drug paraphernalia. Both Peters and Duster have been taken into custody and are currently being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center without the possibility of bond.
