Barbara Mary Wilfong, 93, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on April 15th, 2025, at her home in Giles County. Born in Montreal, Canada on December 25th, 1931, Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed quilting, birdwatching, puzzles, and knitting. She relocated to Giles County five years ago to be near her family.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Hummer of Pulaski, Tennessee; son, Joseph Michael (Catherine) Cesarini of Pulaski, Tennessee; daughter, Virginia JoAnn Dillow of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; son, Jerry Steven Cesarini of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; grandchildren, Elizabeth Cesarini of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mary Catherine Cesarini Benavides of Dallas, Texas, Nicole Johnson of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Thomas Dillow of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Horace L. and Dora Read Leger, and her husband, Cecil Wilfong.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the Wilfong family requests memorial donations be made to Giles County Humane Association, Giles County Library, or an organization of your choice.
