Bobby Gaston Brown

Mr. Bobby Gaston Brown, age 75, of Cave City, Kentucky, passed away on March 20, 2026.

Bobby was born on January 2, 1951, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to the late Gaston Franklin “Hoover” and Mary Louise (Sandrell) Brown. Bobby was a native of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee where he worked at local dealerships, Chrysler Country and Lawrenceburg Chrysler as a new and used car salesman. At the age of forty, he moved, with his wife, Lynne to Memphis, and a few years later to Cave City, Kentucky where he built and managed a successful GM Dealership, Cave City Chevrolet for long time Lawrence County resident Donald Massey and his partner, Arnold Palmer. After moving to Cave City, he and Lynne bought a farm and became cattle farmers, Border Collie breeders, and raised chickens. After retiring, Bobby spent a lot of time on his boat at Barren River Lake, and fishing soon became his favorite hobby with longtime brother and friend, Dr. James P. “Doc” Crews. During this time, he repented his sins to Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior, was baptized and became a trustee in the church. He enjoyed farming and fishing as much as he could. Bobby honorably served his Country in the Army National Guard.
