James E. “Bubba” Brown, 88, of Giles County, TN, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025. He was born on March 14, 1937, to Julius Pinkney and Dimple Minitra Brown. James, known as Bubba, served honorably in the U.S. Navy and retired from Murray Ohio. He was a devoted member of the New Prospect Church of Christ and had a passion for hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Viva Sue Brown, his sons David Anthony Brown and Scott Brown (Sharon), grandchildren, great-grandchild, and sisters. Funeral services will be held at Neal Funeral Home on November 21, 2025, with interment at Westside Cemetery in Leoma, TN. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
