Bonnie Nell Clemmons, 78, passed away on January 21, 2026. She was born on January 6, 1948. Bonnie was a retired cook from the Galley Restaurant and a member of the Baptist faith. She found joy in simple things like listening to Elvis, enjoying a Diet Pepsi, crafting, reading, coloring, and spending time with her family. Bonnie’s presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Clemmons; mother, Doris Nell Pratt; father, Albert O’Neal Bradley; Brother-in-law JC Thigpen; sons, Dale Clemmons and Adam Hunt; granddaughter, Cheyenne Hunt; and brother, Jerry Nell Bradley.
Bonnie is survived by her son, William “Billy” Hunt (Dallas); brother, Ray Pratt; and sisters, Myra Thigpen, Janie Dickerson (Charles), Teresa Baker (Chucky), and Pamela Boatwright (Darrell). She also leaves behind six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone who helped care for Bonnie during her final days. Your kindness and compassion are greatly appreciated.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Henry Stutts Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you donate to your favorite charity in Bonnie’s memory.
