Barrie Loyd Putman, 82, of Killen, AL, passed away on November 3, 2025, after a brief illness. He was a retired supervisor at Reynolds Aluminum/Wise Alloys and a proud United States Airforce Veteran. Barrie was a devoted member of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Rai Wright Putman, and his three sons, Barrie Wade Putman, Darin Todd Putman, and Jared Clay Putman. Barrie also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Barrie was preceded in death by his parents, William Houston Putman and Alta Mae “Mattie” Hice Putman, as well as his brothers and sisters.
A private family service will be held at a later date, with Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Barrie will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
