Carol K. Rohling, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a devoted Catholic and a cherished member of Sacred Heart Lawrenceburg for 67 years. Carol’s unwavering faith and her deep love for her family were the guiding lights of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Dugger (Mike) of Mt. Pleasant, TN; two sons, Tim Rohling (Tina) and Keith Rohling (Lisa) both of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Katie Beasley (Scott), Seth Rohling (Lindsey), Emma Rohling (Charter Helton), Caleb Dugger (Morgan), Nick Rohling (Samantha), Ryan Rohling (Bryan Fleming), Jess Wright (Rance), Wes Daniels (Holly), Will Daniels; twelve great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Richard “Dick” Koelsch of Knoxville, TN; brother, Jack Koelsch of Clinton, TN; sister, Ann Smith of Nashville, TN; several nieces and nephews; her devoted in-laws, Jane Hildebrandt, Royce and Nancy Rohling, Hubert and Ann Rohling, Gary and Lane Rohling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Mathias and Margaret Philomena Sanchulte Koelsch; husband, James “Jim” Rohling; daughter Mona Rohling; two sisters; and one brother.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, with a Rosary following at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 22, 2025, with Father Andrew Forsythe officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Sacred Heart Lawrenceburg School.
Carol will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, love, and unwavering faith will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
