Carol Ann Cross Wade, 73, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on January 14th, 2025 at Meadowbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on April 23rd, 1951 in Pulaski, TN. Carol was a dedicated nurse, having graduated from Columbia State Community College in 1995, and later pursued Human Resource Management at Trevecca College, graduating in 2003. She was a loving wife to Leon R. Wade, Jr. Carol was a devout Christian, having been baptized at Dixon Chapel CP Church and later uniting with First Baptist Bodenham, where her son Kevin serves as pastor. She was known for her warm hospitality, often opening her home for family gatherings filled with laughter and delicious food. Carol’s infectious smile and loving hugs will be cherished forever.
A visitation will be held on January 23rd, 2025 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at the Temple of Praise Church, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00PM in the chapel at the same location. The burial will take place on January 27th, 2025 at 1:00PM at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Leon Ricardo Wade, parents Raymond and Carrie Pipkins Cross, daughter LeAundria McGee, and several siblings. She is survived by her son Kevin (Yolanda) Cross of Lawrenceburg, TN, grandsons Colin McGee and Malik Cross, granddaughters Terice and Natasia Cross, great-grandchildren Kingston, Kora, and Kharisma Cross, brother Robert (Caulyn) Cross of Pulaski, TN, sisters-in-law Lori Wade of Bodenham, TN, Audrey Wade of Nashville, TN, Ara Cross of Pulaski, TN, brothers-in-law Reggie Huff of Atlanta, GA, Leroy Abernathy of Pulaski, TN, special nieces Cheryl, Stephanie, Melanie, Regina, and Roslyn, special cousin Nita, and a host of other relatives and friends.
