Doris Nell Smith, 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on March 4, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System. Doris was a beloved member of the community, having retired from Modine Manufacturing. She was known for her love of cooking for her family, as well as her passion for crocheting, gardening, and tending to her yard.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Malinda Crews, and her brothers, Paul David Crews and Ricky Glenn Crews. She is survived by her son, Jeff Smith, and daughter, Deb Daniels, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Neal Funeral Home on March 7, 2025, with funeral services to follow. Doris will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Doris Nell Smith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
