Edgar Douglas Tomlinson, age 62, of Lawrenceburg, TN, was called home Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at his home in Lawrenceburg. He was born February 5, 1962. He loved the little things in life, playing guitar, cooking, football, and spending time with his loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father James Robert Tomlinson, his stepfather Ellis Staggs, his brothers Gordon Barry, James Micheal, and Robert Wayne and a step brother, Leland Staggs. Grandparents James & Annie Grisham.
He is survived by his mother Eva Frances Staggs, his children Jessica Leighann Tomlinson, Bryan Douglas Tomlinson, and Joseph Zepplin Woods. His nephews Rob, Steven, Johnathan Barry. His Nieces Eva Kay, Victoria, Kerri and Tessa. His granddaughter Reecelyn Ann Heupel. His step brother Gene Staggs (Gayle), Stepsister, Joan Kelton (Norm), and Peggy Staggs (Leland). Close cousin, Rabon Huffines. Special little niece Reagen Huffines. Also many more cousins and extended relatives.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be held at Spann Cemetery.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of handling all final arrangements.
