Edith Dickson Flowers, age 88, of Ethridge, TN passed away Wednesday, May 08, 2024, at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Ethridge, TN, a homemaker, and of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed gardening, was a great cook, and loved to read. Most of all, Edith loved the Lord and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Vinnie Mae Blackwood Dickson; her husband, Horace Flowers; one grandson, Timothy Jason Flowers; two brothers, Albert Dickson and Gene Dickson; and two sisters, Edna Butler and Thelma Dickson.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Flowers (Patsy) of Ethridge, TN and Timothy Flowers (Molly) of New Bern, NC; one daughter, Patricia Flowers Marston (Jeff) of Ethridge, TN; one sister, Imogene Garner of Ethridge, TN; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Those serving as pallbearers will be, Adam Pollock, Micha Flowers, Logan Marston, Robert Garner, Danny Dickson, and Johnny Perkins.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2024, with Danny Huckaba officiating. Interment will follow at Old Ethridge Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
