Elaine Hennessee, age 85, of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at NHC Columbia. Elaine was born on May 11th, 1939 in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
Elaine was a lifelong member of Diana Methodist Church. Elaine’s many roles in life included being a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Elaine cherished her entire family, raising several generations. She was a mentor to many with a strong devotion to her Lord and Savior.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 31st, 2024 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at 11:00am at Beechwood Cemetery with burial following.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jim Hennessee, her parents, Andy and Rachel Wood, and her sister, Gwen Oliver, all of Pulaski.

Daughter, Valerie Haney of Prospect, Tennessee
Son, Jimmy Hennessee (Angela) of Athens, Alabama
Granddaughter, Amy Moore (Shaun) of Columbia, Tennessee
Grandson, Shannon Newton (Meghan) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
Grandson, Shay Hennessee of Pulaski, Tennessee
5 great-grandchildren.
Brother, Don Wood (Kathy) of Jonestown, Texas
Brother-in-law, Johnny Oliver of Pulaski, TN
Sister-in-law, Dorsie Trew of New Tazewell, Tennessee
Nieces, Kelly Martin (Jeff) of Pulaski, Tennessee, Brittney Hubenthal of Round Rock, Texas, and Robin Trew of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee
Nephew, Robbie Trew of New Tazewell, Tennessee
Many friends and other relatives also survive.
