Helen Elaine Pennington, 81, of Iron City, TN, passed away on January 24, 2025, at NHC Healthcare. She was a beloved homemaker and a dedicated member of First Baptist of Iron City. Helen was a native of Wayne County, TN.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Pennington (Wendy) of Loretto, TN, and her daughters, Kerry Pennington Kimmel (Dwane) of Normandy, TN, and Kathy Pennington of Iron City, TN. Helen also leaves behind several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Pennington, her granddaughter, Kaleigh Pennington, and her parents, Marvin and Lillie Russ Phillips.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with Greg Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Helen will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
