Glennis Elaine Holden, 77, of Florence, passed away on May 2, 2025, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. She was a dedicated housekeeper at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home and a cherished member of Antioch Church of Christ.
Elaine is survived by her loving son, Donnie Holden (Tammy), her devoted daughter, Shelia Smith (Michael), and her sisters: Reba Duren (Duane), Patricia Faye Godfrey (Tony), and Juanita Byrd. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Holden, her parents, Roy Lee Thomas & Thelma Cosby Thomas, her brothers, Bernard Thomas, Lewis Thomas, and David Thomas, and her sisters, Mary Ivine Hoffman and Edith Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 10:00am – 11:00am, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel, with Ray Tucker officiating. Burial will take place at Antioch Cemetery.
Elaine will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever. May she rest in peace.
