Helen M. Rigsby, 94, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on January 4, 2025, at Keestone of Lawrenceburg. A native of Lawrenceburg, she graduated from St. Thomas School of Nursing and served as a Registered Nurse in the United States Navy. During the Vietnam War, she trained Hospital Corpsmen at Great Lakes Naval Hospital and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Commander after a twenty-year career. Helen had a passion for animals and reading and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Horace Neil Rigsby, and her mother, Lady Mildred Hewgley Harbin. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, with an inurnment to be held at a later date at John Lay Cemetery.
