Irene Frazier Hooker, age 90, of Leoma, TN passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Leoma Church of Christ for 45 years. She enjoyed sewing, reading, working in her church, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Estel and Ruby Leona Williams Frazier; her husband of 70 years, Warren Kent Hooker, Jr.; one daughter, Christy Shults; one son, William E. Hooker; and two brothers, Billy D. Frazier and Bobby G. Frazier.
She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Lynn Hand of Leoma, TN; two sons, Michael Warren Hooker of Lawrenceburg, TN and John Kent Hooker (Kim) of Leoma, TN; one daughter-in-law, Linda Sue Hooker of Lawrenceburg, TN; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2024, with Van Vansandt officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to The Memorial Scholarship Foundation at Leoma Church of Christ.
