Obituary for James Vernon Sharp, Jr.

James Vernon Sharp, Jr. or “Jim” as he was called by friends, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 74 years old. He was a pest control technician, known as “Bug Man” for over five decades. He was well involved in the community as regional commissioner, coach, and referee of several youth sport programs. He was proud to coach the high school bowling and soccer teams. He was an avid and highly accomplished bowler. He loved and cherished his family. He will be deeply mourned and missed.
