William “Bill” Vernon Pylant of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at NHC Pulaski, Tennessee. He was born in Pulaski, Tennessee on December 28th, 1940 and was 83 years old.
Bill was retired from Dembo’s where he was a welder. He loved drinking coffee and spending time with his grandchildren.
The visitation will be 11:00am to 2:00pm Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in the Aspen Hill Cemetery.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents George Washington and Rosie Moss Pylant. His wife Jewel Dean Pylant. His sisters, Ester Pylant Tate and Rosie Lee Pylant Stover. Brothers, Roy Donald, Jerry Wayne, James, and Arthur (Bud) Pylant.

Son, Vernon Pylant of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Sister, Betty Lou Pylant Campbell of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Sister, Evie Pylant Allen of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Brother, Charles Pylant of Pulaski, Tennessee.
9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
