Jana Michelle Cross Gobble, 37, of Saint Joseph, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, and a cherished member of Southside Church of Christ.
Jana will be remembered for her unwavering faith and her deep love for her family, including her husband Wesley, daughter Maizy, and son Grayson. She was known for her kindness and ever-present smile, even during her most challenging times. Jana found joy in watching her children play sports and treasured the family trips that created lasting memories.
Funeral services for Jana will be held on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel at 2pm, with Van Henry Vansandt and Rodney Livingston officiating. She will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place from 10am-2pm on the same day at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Jana is survived by her husband, children, parents Dwayne and Sheila Cross, sister Mandy Glass (Brock), grandmother Rose Whitehead, grandparents Robert and Johnnie Nell Cross, aunt Angela Norwood (Jerry), uncle Stan Whitehead (Sharon), father and mother-in-law Wayne and Jan Gobble, brother-in-law Justin Gobble (Lauren), and cousins Gage, Nolan, Chaley, Kayla, and AC.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Louis Whitehead.
The family extends their gratitude to the community for the support, thoughts, prayers, and donations shown to Jana during her time of need. Jana’s presence made the world a better place, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
