Granville “Grant” Kelly Hensley, 77, of Loretto, TN, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center. He was a proud United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam and worked in auto body. Grant was a dedicated member of Greenhill Baptist Church. He will be remembered for his service to his country and his community.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with David Simmerman officiating. Burial will follow in Loretto Memorial Gardens with Military Honors at Graveside. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Grant is survived by his loving wife, Rita Howell Hensley of Loretto, TN; daughters, Karen Harbison (Terry) of Fall River, TN, and Alicia Crews (Josh) of Waynesboro, TN; brothers, Jerry Hensley of Loretto, TN, and Ronnie Baker of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister, Annette Springer of Loretto, TN; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 on the way.
He was preceded in death by his father, Granville “G.W.” Hensley, mother, Nettie Mae Price Hensley, and great-granddaughter, Presley Bet-Sayad.
Grant will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of service and love will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
