John Edward Kellum, 85, of Loretto, TN, passed away on November 25th, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg, TN. Born on April 30th, 1940 in Gideon, Missouri, to the late Edward Kellum and Estha Francis Littrell Kellum, John dedicated many years to General Motors at Saturn in Spring Hill, TN before retiring in 1998. He found joy in reading and cherished time with family and friends. John was a devoted member of United Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ruthanne Kellum and his brother, James Donald Kellum. John is survived by his children, John Kellum and Daniel Kellum (Jennifer); grandchildren, John Kellum Jr., Chandler Kellum, Adam Kellum, and Taylor Gist; brother, “C” Kellum, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored to handle all final arrangements. John will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
