John T. Turner, age 79, of Clifton, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 06, 2025, at his residence. He was a retired project manager from Odum Brothers Masonry and a member of the Hermitage Sportman’s Club and Clifton Methodist Church. Mr. Turner served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Taylor Turner; six children, Charles Turner, Julie Christian (Scotty), Tara Fish (Jeremy), Erica Stewart (Chad), Mark Dooley (Lyn), and Stacey Perry; three brothers, Mike Brown (Vickie), Aaron Brown (Susie), and Glenn Turner; one sister, Cynthia Cross (Bobby); nineteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home with interment to follow at Bishop Chapel Cemetery in Loretto, TN, with full military honors.
The family suggests memorials be made to DAV, the Wounded Warrior Project, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
