Bobby Ray Balentine

Bobby Ray Balentine, 73, of Florence, passed away on November 23, 2025, at his residence. He was the owner of B&B Landscaping, a member of Creekside Church of Christ, and served in the United States Army National Guard.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Burch Balentine; sons, Chris Balentine (Kimberly) and Casey Balentine; Patricia Balentine; stepsons, Marc Butler (Teresa) and Scott Butler (Kimberly); brothers, Burt Balentine (Theresa), Dale Balentine (T.J.), Jeff Balentine (Beverly), James Balentine, and Danny Balentine (Sherry); sisters, Brenda Woodall (Bobby), Jennie Davis (Michael), and Julie Conerly; grandchildren, Colt Balentine and Breanna Balentine; step-grandchildren, Brandon Butler (Jennifer), Brittany Proctor (Nick), Brett Butler, Bryan Butler, Emily Glover (Connor), and Elijah Butler; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tollie Balentine.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, with burial at Barnett Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Walter Patterson, Elijah Butler, Jeff Trousdale, Steve Fell, Scott Butler, and Rick Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Frederick, Don Montgomery, and Greg Howard.

Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
