Joseph Matthew Simpson, 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on January 31, 2026, at Southern TN Regional Health System. Born in Westpoint, TN, Joseph was a retired Murray Ohio employee and former Medride Driver. He was also a devoted member of West Gaines Church of Christ.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Bentley Simpson, and their children: Steven Simpson (Melanie), Pamela Simpson Hardison (Jeffery), and Hannah Bentley Simpson. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Wilson, Alice Christmon, and Frances Jones, along with seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Judith Marie Welch Simpson, as well as two grandchildren, Joseph will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and no services will be held. Condolences may be sent through their website at www.nealfuneralhome.net. Joseph’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
