Stephen Joseph Rigling, 67, of Loretto, TN, passed away on February 8, 2026, at home after a sudden illness. He was a native of Lawrence Co, TN, and was an electrician and partner of Rigling Electric. Stephen was a devoted member of the Catholic faith.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm, with Mike Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Loretto Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Carol Stutts Rigling; mother, Lorene Rigling; son, Henry Rigling (Holly); daughter, Jenny Weldon (Drew); and sisters, Margaret Rigling, Susan Moore, and Patty Turner. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Maddie, Leo, and Carolina Weldon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Joseph Rigling.
Stephen will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
