Junior “Buddy” Cotton, age 88, of Summertown, TN, passed away on Monday, January 8th, 2024 at his residence in Summertown. He was a member of the Panoramic Church in Summertown. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, tending to his yard, and his garden. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather, who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in his death by his Parents, Oliver and Emma Cotton; Brothers, Spencer and Gene Cotton; Sisters, Maudie Walters and Audie Mae Gray; Nephew, Chris Cotton.
He is survived by his loving Wife of 65 years, Dreanon “Jennie” Cotton; Sons, Tim Cotton (Kathy) and Tony Cotton (Christy); Grandchildren, Racheal Hensley, Derrick Murphy, Jenna Cotton, Haley King (Lyle), Tina Garland (Jeremy), Devin Cotton, and Dustin Cotton; Great Grandchildren, Destiny, Dakota, Caleb, Chloe, Rylee, Jase, Logen, Zaylen, Kaisley, Eli, and Ansley.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 beginning at 12:00 p.m. Brother Rodney Ashmore will be officiating.
Interment will be held at Barnesville Cemetery.
