Pearl Elizabeth Cotton, age 96, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Country Cottage in Lawrenceburg, TN. Pearl was a native of Summertown, TN, and was known for her love of sewing and gardening. She was a devoted member of Salem Church of Christ.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Pauline Durham Guthrie, and her husband, Marion Eugene Cotton. She is survived by her son, Gary Cotton (Pam) of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister-in-law, Jenny Cotton of Summertown, TN; nephews, Tim Cotton (Cathy) and Tony Cotton (Christy), all of Summertown, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, with Ricky Cotton officiating. Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Pearl Elizabeth Cotton.
