Luther Cleland Ezell, 91, of Loretto, TN, passed away on September 17, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Luther was a devoted member of Elgin Crossroads Primitive Baptist and a native of Lawrence County. He is survived by his son, Timothy Wayne Ezell of Fenville, MI, and his daughters, Beverly Charlene Dornbush of Holland, MI, and Michelle Denise Ezell-Walker of Loretto, TN. Luther also leaves behind four grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Tom Ezell, and mother, Ava Wilson Ezell, as well as his brothers Mancel, Wayland, and Morland, and his sister, Sue Ezell Meade. Luther’s visitation service will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel, Inc. on Friday, September 19th, 2025, starting at 12 noon, with funeral services at 2 pm, officiated by T.R. Williams. He will be laid to rest in Bonnertown Cemetery. Loretto Memorial Chapel is assisting the family during this difficult time.
